What We Collect

Cold Light collects the minimum data necessary to operate the website and distribute the newsletter.

• Newsletter subscribers: Email address only. Collected via the signup form on the Memoranda page. Stored securely. Never shared.
• Website visitors: We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not collect personal data. No IP addresses are stored. No tracking pixels are deployed.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or any third-party tracking tools. We do not set cookies. We do not build visitor profiles. We do not sell data to anyone, because we do not collect data worth selling.

Newsletter Data

Email addresses collected for Cold Light Memoranda are stored by our email provider (currently Buttondown) and used only to send the newsletter. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. We honour unsubscribe requests within 24 hours.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@coldlight.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and note the change in the next edition of Cold Light Memoranda.
