Cold Light is produced by a small team working with primary documents, archive requests, and careful fact-checking. Each episode requires approximately 120 hours of research, transcription, and verification before recording begins.
Your support funds that research. It pays for archive access fees, FOIA request costs, academic journal subscriptions, and the time required to read a 400-page declassified document carefully rather than skim it for sensational quotations.
We do not run advertisements. We do not sell listener data. We do not accept sponsorship from organisations whose interests might compromise our editorial independence. The only revenue stream is direct support from listeners who value what we do.
If you listen, and you can afford to support, we are grateful. If you cannot, the content remains fully available. There is no paywall.
